OUR STORY
At In-Sight Vision Therapy, we know that every individual is unique. Their experiences, strengths and goals are shaped by far more than a diagnosis, which is why we take the time to understand what matters most before developing an individualised plan of care.
Vision is about much more than what the eyes can see. It influences how we learn, communicate, move through the world and participate in everyday life. Through evidence-based assessment, rehabilitation and therapy, we work alongside individuals, families and the professionals around them to develop practical strategies that build confidence, independence and participation.
Whether we are supporting a young child with a neurological vision condition, helping a student access learning more effectively, or assisting an adult to adapt to vision loss, our focus is always the same to help people make the most of their functional vision and achieve the goals that are important to them.
As In-Sight Vision Therapy grows, our commitment will remain unchanged: providing compassionate, personalised care where every individual feels respected, supported and empowered throughout their journey.

HELLO, I'M JEMILA
Founder of In-Sight Vision Therapy
I founded In-Sight Vision Therapy because I wanted to create a service where people felt genuinely heard. I know that seeking support can feel overwhelming, whether you're navigating your own vision changes or looking for answers for someone you care about. My goal has always been to create a welcoming environment where people feel comfortable asking questions, exploring possibilities and working towards meaningful goals together.
As an Orthoptist and Low Vision Specialist with more than 13 years of clinical experience, I've had the privilege of working with children and adults living with a wide range of neurological and ocular vision conditions. Every person I meet brings a different story, and that's one of the things I love most about my work.
Some of the greatest moments aren't always the biggest milestones. They're the everyday achievements that make life a little easier, such as a child engaging with their environment in a new way, a student becoming more confident at school, or an adult regaining independence in daily life. Those moments remind me why I do what I do.
As In-Sight Vision Therapy continues to grow, my vision is to build a team that shares these same values, so every person who walks through our doors receives the same genuine care, compassion and commitment that the practice was founded on.

WHAT MATTERS MOST
Our therapy is guided by meaningful goals that support greater confidence, independence and participation in everyday life.
PERSON FIRST
A diagnosis is only one part of the picture. We look beyond it to recognise each person's strengths, interests and potential, tailoring our support to the individual.
WORKING TOGETHER
We believe the best outcomes come from collaboration, working alongside families, carers, educators and other health professionals.
WE SEE POSSIBILTIES
We focus on what is possible, building on strengths to help each person make the most of their functional vision.
CELEBRATE PROGRESS
Every step forward matters. We celebrate progress because every achievement is worth recognising.
